SYED HASAN AHMED PROFILE

Hasan has over 18 years of professional experience. He is a graduate in psychology and post graduate in management in HRD from Symbiosis Center for Management in 2002. He brings with him extensive experience in corporate HR strategy and aligning the HR agenda with business goals.

During his career journey of 18 years, he has worked in corporate HR for the largest FMCG food organization in India (Amul). Thereafter as Head – HR at a leading Africa based FMCG company (Watanmal Group) and as Director HR for a Spanish multi-global FMCG company with business presence in over 50 countries and revenues of approximately $ 1 Billion USD.

He has worked across many sub-functions in Human resources and enabled the process of transformation post M&A. He has collaborated and managed talent across many countries and cultures across Asia, Africa and Europe and has travelled extensively across these regions.

In his most recent experience of leading the HR Integration of Watanmal Group with GB Foods, he has successfully defined and implemented the new operating model and managed the change associated with this integration across, cultures, people, processes and technology.

During the transformation journey for organizations like Watanmal Group, Hasan has built the HR function from scratch and scaled it to achieve high levels of employee engagement and talent development. He has enabled the succession plan goals of the company through talent assessment and development using assessment centers, 360 degree feedback and executive coaching. He has worked extensively on Talent acquisition, Performance Management, Competency mapping and development.

While in Amul, Hasan has anchored the TQM initiatives in the organization and its member Unions. He has facilitated policy deployment processes using the LSIP. He has partnered with various sales leaders in implementing the sales force competency development and driving sales performance through incentive system.

Hasan is a certified practitioner of MBTI and Thomas Assessments. He has been trained in Designing and Implementing Assessment Centers by Dr. T V Rao. He has also been trained by Marshall Goldsmith on Executive Coaching & by Hay group on Job Evaluations. Hasan is currently pursuing Global Fellow Program in Talent Management from Wharton Business School

He currently works with Saga Consulting as Principal Consultant.
